很快的又是七月了，許多人已經買好機票，去一輩子沒有去過打算住那麼久的地方，有些人心中很踏實，或許有人接應，有親友協助。但有些人心中卻是水桶七上八下，一切都要靠自己。很不幸的是，如果你要唸設計與藝術，往往你是後面那一邊，也就是邊緣化的留學生，要什麼沒什麼？連問問題都不知道哪個信箱會回你（冏）而且你已經逐漸的感覺到，這是常態，而非異端。
要唸MFA，就是這樣子的，從申請到就讀，從就讀到就業，大部分都沒有前例可詢，領域太專業，範圍太多元，就算有拜行天宮遇到了學長姐或一起出發的朋友，但註冊、選課、找房、買家具、想辦法餵飽自己，都還是要親力親為，沒有什麼茶來伸手，飯來張口的事情。而且你在台灣或許做得很好，但出國就一切都有GG的可能。要怎麼辦？要多打聽？還是要多做什麼功課？能怎麼預防？能怎麼度過？
其實，一切竅門就僅只是相信自己，為自己鼓掌罷了。不要去計算、去比較。任何你經歷的鳥事、好事、意外、收穫都是經歷。也都是無價的。
沮喪的時候，尷尬的時候，氣餒的時候，憤怒的時候，就聽歌吧！旅程雖然貌似孤寂，但其實你也很豐富！不要封閉自己，走出去交任何（不是台灣人）的朋友！去異地的各個角落！探索你的未知！為自己鼓掌！
