請問大家有關於加拿大那邊MFA的訊息嗎? 家中因為有計畫要移民,希望可以以加拿大的學校為第一優先考慮. 小弟問了一些補習班或朋友, 可惜對於Design這個領域都不熟; 用Peterson’s GradLine找都沒有T_T, 沒有碩士等級的學位,怎麼會這樣…

加拿大的MFA大多是Fine Arts, Design領域的較少, 加拿大人的觀念是Design只要唸certificate就可以了, 目前我只知道U of Alberta有Master of Design

There are very few art schools in Canada have graduate degree program. Some very good art schools here in Ontario (Toronto) includes, Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) and Sheridan. Most people & companies know those two school very well.
I don’t know why you need to obtain a MFA for design. I would suggest to work in design field you love and gain some experiences then you would have clear view of what you want. Once you understand what you want and what you really passonate about, you can make wise choice on which MFA you should be studying in.
If you really aim for a design job, it doesn’t matter if you are MFA, BFA, or high school. All that matters is your portfolio.
I have worked in North American for more than 6 years. When choosing the right people for my company, we always look at their portfolio not their degree of study.
